2014-2016 Special Effects Artist at Legacy Effects, Los Angeles CA
At this legendary FX shop in Los Angeles I worked mainly in Art Department, Model Shop, Paint and Fabrication Department, furthering all my modelmaking skills learning from highly qualified artists and industry veterans. This company takes on many productions at the same time, and it is common to move fast between projects and interdisciplinary departments as well as on set. Using tons of varying materials (fabric, foam, rubber, metal, paints, 2 part component plastics, fiberglass etc) and techniques (molding, casting, sewing, sculpting, painting, hard edge modeling) I've worked on movies such as Jurassic World, The Shape of Water, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Terminator Genisys and many commercials like Call of Duty, Bank of America, AmPm and TV shows such as Gray's Anatomy, Colony and The Expanse.

​Modelmaker at Bowsie Workshop
Dublin, (2012 - 2014) 2015
In 2015 I worked on the stop motion animation short called A Terrible Hullabaloo about the Easter Rising. As I had interned and worked with the company on several occasions before I was glad to be part of the modelmaking team for a film that the Dublin based FX shop wrote, directed and produced, requiring hand made puppets, props and sets.

​Modelmaker at Ardmore Studios, Bray, 2014
I worked on a large number of set props for Penny Dreadful season 2, including 125 ventriloquist dolls, tomb stones and a bath for Dr Frankenstein. I mainly ran molds, cleaned up and assembled cast parts and created the final paint design for most of the dolls.
